Pansies are the flowers of choice for bright splashes of colour

The name pansy comes from the French word pensée or thought. This popular summer flower was imported into England in the 15th century and is sometimes called viola. But whatever name, it is still a garden favourite and symbolizes remembrance, so it is often planted as a sign of love. This feature shows innovative ways to plant and display pansies.
